A vasectomy is permanent contraception for someone with a penis in which the tubes that carry sperm from the testicles are cut and then closed off to block sperm. The vasectomy procedure is done in the office and takes about 30 minutes. It’s very safe and super effective at preventing pregnancy (over 99%)!
