It is a rare and amazing thing to feel trusted by healthcare professionals. In all my experiences with health care, I have never felt more heard than I do by the wonderful people at the Lovering Health Center. The staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and the time they take to listen and work with patients exemplifies the difference between facilities that respect patients and those that believe them—an incredibly important distinction for trans patients such as myself. It is hard to overstate how difficult it is as a trans person to find a provider who focuses as much on their emotional wellness as they do their physical, but the staff at Lovering have ensured time and time again that my entire person matters, not just the numbers that appear on my chart. No matter who you are, when you are at Lovering, you are welcome, and you are important.

I can’t recommend this clinic high enough. I’ve been going here for years for various women’s health related reasons. The staff are always so welcoming and caring towards patients and truly treat you like family. I’ve referred a lot of friends here as well and will continue to do so. The people who work there are truly angels on earth.

I've been going here since I was in college for my sexual health needs, including PREP. The ladies who run and work at this place are caring, sensitive, professional and knowledgeable. It's a very LGBTQ friendly facility.

I am glad to be connected with the Lovering for many reasons, but something that immediately comes to mind for me is the gratitude I feel for the time and energy that goes into training volunteer staff in making us part of the team. The Lovering creates an environment of psychological safety and compassion for everyone who walks through the doors, whether they're a patient, a volunteer, or a staff member.
