  • We will provide you with the medications that you need to take; Mifeprex and Misoprostol.
  • You must be prepared to spend time at home during the time that you are aborting your pregnancy; several hours to 1-2 days.
  • Most women experience moderate to heavy bleeding and cramping.
  • We are available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week should you have any questions following your abortion.
  • You must return to the center for a follow-up visit to have another ultrasound to confirm that you are no longer pregnant.
  • Our fee for a Medication Abortion is also competitive, $485. The fee includes your lab work, ultrasound and a follow up appointment with ultrasound. If extra testing or medication is needed, there will be an additional charge.

Your Appointments

We will review your complete medical history with you. (A Medical History Form is found on our website under Patient Info. You may print it and complete it to bring with you, or complete it here.) We’ll answer all of your questions and explain what to expect. We will do a pregnancy test and an ultrasound. You will be provided with the medication and instructions that you need. You will return to the health center 14 days later to have another ultrasound.

Surgical Abortion

In-clinic Vacuum Aspiration Abortion

  • Appointments available every week; including some Saturdays.
  • For those up to 14 weeks, 6 days from the first day of your last menstrual period.
  • Very safe procedure; the complication rate for this procedure nationwide is less than 2%.
  • An ultrasound and pregnancy test are done the same day of your appointment.
  • Appointment is typically 2-3 hours including the actual procedure which is completed in 7-10 minutes.
  • Performed under local anesthesia (you are awake) using a gentle suction.
  • It is normal to feel moderate to heavy cramping during the procedure.
  • The abortion is performed by an experienced, board-certified physician
  • All methods of birth control are offered at your visit, including same day IUD and Nexplanon insertion.
  • We are available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week should you have any questions following your abortion.
  • Our fee for a vacuum aspiration abortion is competitive, typically $485-$600 depending on how long you’ve been pregnant. Includes your lab work, ultrasound and a follow up appointment. If extra testing or medication is needed, there will be an additional charge. Assistance with the fee may be available for you. If you are having difficulty paying for your abortion, we will do our best to help you access assistance.

Your Appointment

You may print it and complete it to bring with you, or complete it here.) We’ll answer all of your questions and explain what to expect every step of the way. We’ll give you ibuprofen and an antibiotic and take your blood pressure and pulse. A patient support specialist will be with you during your abortion. You will rest here for about 20 minutes before going home to resume normal activities the next day. We’ll give you at-home instructions, which you can also find under Patient Info on this website.
